A photograph of a kaffir melon. M. W. White gave Homer Shantz this kaffir melon that had been lying in his shop for 5 months and was still in good condition. This melon is a popular stock melon with practically a solid flesh and a very resistant rind. It is 14 inches long and about 8 inches in diameter.
