Description
Shows a sisal plantation with Orin Denny in back. Passed on through much the same type of grassland to Embu. At sisal farm there are immense areas of Tricholaena rosea, where it has taken possession of the deserted sisal farm. There are also many Androp[ogon] sorg[hum] halap[ensis] plants along here, but the plants are now only in flower - will secure seed later. [Shantz travel journal, May 19, 1920]
