Title A name given to the resource Mrs. Aurora Arrieta Dispute Between Cholos and Cholas, Chihuahua, Chihuahua Description An account of the resource A woman named Aurora Arrieta details a dispute she witnessed from her window at the Santa Regina Hotel in Chihuahua, Chihuahua. Ms. Arrieta explains that at around 11 at night, she heard voices on the street and a woman screaming. She looked out the window and saw a woman, who she describes as a chola, on top of a man, punching and hitting his face while he tried to guard himself with his arms. There were four cholos and three cholas surrounding them, watching. The women had weapons, a stick, and rocks. The women ran off before the police arrived, who eventually ended up taking three of the men into custody. After going down to the street and speaking with the police and other witnesses, Ms. Arrieta learned that the man had tried to take advantage of the woman, and she had managed, with the help of her friends, to defend herself and escape.
