Ghost Diary was produced by Maureen Cummins in the winter of 2003, with typographic assistance from Kathy McMillan and metalwork by Gary Dodge. The text of the book is based on a handwritten letter discovered by the artist in the archive of Weir Farm in Wilton, Connecticut, during a residency in the spring of 2001. The letter was written in 1807 by a former Revolutionary War officer, Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Rhea, to his children on the anniversary of his wife's death. The images that accompany the text are original vintage glass negatives that date from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The book was produced in an edition of twenty-five. <em>The Lost Journals of Sacajewea</em> began during the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark expedition in the Spring of 2005. The Missoula Museum of Art had two exhibitions running simultaneously that were critical responses to the celebratory afflatus that customarily surrounds such events. I was at the museum to open my exhibition <em>Nature Morte</em> when I saw, hanging in the next gallery, a fragment of a poem that accompanied <em>Native Perpectives on the Trail: A Contemporary American Indian Portfolio</em>. I was introduced to the author Debra Magpie Earling, and based on that fragment, I proposed a collaboration. Over the next few years we met occasionally and worked sporadically on the concept while we each pursued our own busy and demanding schedules. By 2006 Debra had completed the writing, and in 2009 I collected the last photographs that I wished to accompany the text. Printing began in late 2009 and was completed in January 2010.
The typeface is a version of the historic Fell types presumed to be the work of Dutch punchcutter Dirck Voskens and interpreted by Jonathan Hoefler in a conscious attempt to reproduce the imperfect image that the Fell types left on paper when printed in the 18th Century. The Fell types have been described as "retaining a retrogressive old-style irregularity" which somehow seems appropriate given our purpose here in this book. The text is printed on Twinrocker <em>DaVinci</em> hand-made paper at Peter Koch Printers and bound at the press by Jonathan Gerken. The cover paper is from Cave Papers in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Images prepared by Donald Farnsworth at Magnolia Editions on Kozo hand-made paper and printed with the assistance of Jonathan Gerken and Tallulah Terryll. Edition: 65 copies, of which five copies are designated <em>hors commerce</em>. Edition 4/65.

Moon Journey represents the collaborative endeavors of Claudia Smigrod, photographer, Jake Dingman, writer, Sam Singman, musician, and the staff of Pyracantha Press; John Risseeuw, Dan Mayer, and Patrick Vincent. Claudia's photographs were generated by pinhole cameras and informed the text and music. An account of the resource
Working in close collaboration with Virginie Litzler, Paris Perpendicular grew out of a shared interest in extending inherent pictorial narrative beyond their photographic frame or the edges of the pages. The photographs, hand printed, remain seperate entities. Their relationship to the book, also hand printed, and its unbound pages, present a precise yet precarious state. Each page yields to various scenarios as each photograph, often part by part, is revealed. Edition of 22.

This book was created with digital images made from the original mixed media monotypes. The text is printed from photo polymer plates in papyrus typeface on Rives BFK paper. The cover is a cyanotype by the artist. Created in Rochester, NY in 2011, in an edition of seven, for the International Book Project, in solidarity with those booksellers killed on Al Mutanabbi Street in Baghdad. This is copy number 7/7. An account of the resource
Femmes Fatales was produced by Maureen Cummins in the summer of 2001, with typographic assistance from Kathy McMillan and die-cutting by Earl Kallemeyen. The typefaces used in the book were New Century Schoolbook and Kunstle Script. All borders and text were letterpress-printed on black Stonehenge and the image were reproduced using color xerography. The list of names and torture and execution devices were compiled over a period of several years, as were the vintage photographs used to illustrate the book. Femmes Fatales was printed in edition of fifty numbered copies, with copy number 1 containing the original photographs. Edition 31/50. [Signed by author]
