Descripción

Leather sword belt of Daniel J. Condon, Cdr USN Ret. The belt was brought up by divers. It is a black, cowhide belt with a brass, circular buckle, phlange for sword and hanging strap. The phlange is attached on the left inside by a black leather strip and has a slit through which the sword hung. The hanging strap consists of two parts connected by two 1 3/4" brass tension clips. The buckle is round with a leaf design around the border and in the center is the Navy eagle surrounded by a row of thirteen stars and a braided circle.
