Description
OOD long glass (spy glass). One of three in use on December 7, 1941. This spy glass was used by the Officer of the Deck, who was responsible for the safety and navigation of the ship. It was salvaged by a USS Arizona diving party December 15-19. Found in the OOD "shack" on the quarter-deck while retrieving the Paymaster's safe.
