Down Mexico's Rivers of Yesterday
Down Mexico’s Rivers of Yesterday was the second film produced by Ken Wolfgang and was released circa 1959. The film is 80 minutes in length and was shot on 16mm Kodachrome film. Wolfgang presented the film on the travel lecture circuit from 1959 to 1961. In a press release for the film, it is stated that the film aspires to present the viewer with a picture of the Mexico most people do not know exists. In the film, Wolfgang and fellow travelers lead an exploratory expedition of the Balsas River, one of Mexico’s then little known rivers meeting along the way indigenous cultures and learning about their ways of life.
